Tips on finding buyers and logistics companies for raw materials

My son's really hitting a wall with a big part of his longterm plan. He's got these really key contacts all over the world who can source some seriously high end raw materials and products that countries like the US, Canada, and Western Europe desperately need.
you know, stuff that could definitely be bought at a better price point.

The huge problem he's running into right now is actually finding a buyer and logistics companies.

He got these materials from countries that, well, let's just say the "average person" would probably shy away from.
He's finding buyers who are willing to buy from these countries and logistic companies that can handle shipments from any country.

Are there any special resources or databases out there specifically for finding buyers for these kinds of raw materials?

Any ideas on how to tackle this? He could really use some help strategizing a way through this complex dilemma

That does sound promising, but I'd be a bit concerned about compliance and sanctions. If any of those countries are restricted or high-risk, it could create legal issues for buyers and logistics partners, has he vetted that part carefully?

What kind of raw materials is he working with, are we talking industrial metals, agricultural goods, or something more niche? That'll help narrow down buyer databases and legit trade platforms

Tough job indeed. He should check out trade sites like Alibaba or industry-specific marketplaces where buyers hang out. Joining trade groups or chambers of commerce can help him connect with legit buyers too. For shipping, working with freight forwarders who know those regions is a MUST. Also, networking in forums or talking to export-import pros can really help him figure out the best way forward. So bottomline, its a lot about network building and reputation
