I'm interested in expanding outside the US, so I'd like to talk to other members here who have done this. Is it worth it? Will it be something that's profitable enough or should I stick with this market only?

Pops tried to expand his online business into Europe found that navigating different regulations and marketing to new cultures was a whole different ballgame than just selling stateside. What kind of business are you in and have you done any research into specific international markets you're considering?

Expanding outside the US can be profitable and can potentially reach globalization, but depends on the market and rules there. It's always best to do extensive research first, but many find sticking to the US easier when starting out.

I'm into gadgets for remote workers. The market is there and there is a demand, but I'm thinking is it worth it trying to figure things otu and quite possibly spending too much time and money and not getting enough in return.

Totally get where you're coming from. Chasing international sales can feel like throwing darts in the dark if the margins don't hold up. Have you narrowed it down to a region or are you still weighing the field? Some markets are gadget-hungry but come with red tape that'll tie your hands if you're not ready.
